I’ve been to a nude beach once. My cousin and I were at Tayrona in Colombia, where we’d taken the bus from Barranquilla. We were spending two or three days there, going from beach to beach and eating 2-3 times a day, go to sleep and repeat. The last beach was a nude beach. I’m not particularly self-conscious so when it was time to go get in the water I took my swim trunks off and walked in. I’d been out there a little bit when I saw a couple of policemen by our area, waving at me to come in, so I swam and waded back in, put on a towel. Definitely the only time I’ve been nude around a policeman. (Lots of tourists there that they want to keep safe, so good police presence.) They found the weed in my cousin’s bag and the negotations began. I have a non-local accent and he’s super-local so obviously I let him do the talking. “I’m hungry.” “How hungry?” “A little lunch” Cousin says to me, “that means ”, I remove money from my wallet, hand it to the young officers, they’re on their way with the weed, which will definitely get smoked by somebody. So it goes. I realize none of this was about the nude part, but I do like women and there were attractive women there and I did appreciate that, so there was that.
