I've fixed some spot-welded-then-eventually-broken pot lids with Cu rivets. I'm wondering if I should preemptively spend hours and dollars on my < 2 dollar safeway-spat, or just work through the tears to fix it when it (inevitably) breaks.
And yes those insta-worthy and glamourous spatulae referenced elsewhere are fabulous, but I like what I have...
