I have more than a few film camera's but don't like 1) the wait time to see pics, 2) the cost of developing, 3) the cost of film it self, 4) the limitations imposed by film ie having to shoot a whole roll at one ASA setting before you can change it.
There are probably other 'things' about digital I can't think of right now, but the ability to shoot, download and print an image, in a matter of minutes, by myself, is worth the cost of a good digital camera to me.
And yes, our local camera shop still does color film developing on site. They do have to send B&W out though.
