I’ve owned and used (professionally) many Leica M-series cameras over the years…M2’s, 3’s, 4’s, 5’s, and 6’s (both ttl and non ttl versions), Compact, quiet/stealthy, precise, rugged…with absolutely stunning optics and rangefinder/viewfinders.
At any rate…here are a few snaps taken in Ethiopia with my Leicas - from my eight trips there, one into northern Tigray during the late 90’s conflict…the rest while working for a foundation photographing projects throughout the country:
(Edit: way to much to express here about Ethiopia - I fell in love with that country and am completely heartbroken by what’s currently happening in Tigray, and can only hope that my many friends over there are safe)
