Hopefully in November it will be pleasant temperatures for your race.

I had to mow the yard today. Just the cool weather fescue grass is growing. The Bermuda has pretty much stopped growing.

The headlights in my 911 are halogen bulb, sealed beams. They do OK, but I have been looking for some low power consumption LED headlights for years for my sugar scoops. For years they all wanted to go to the later style, and I prefer the sugar scoops. My car, my preference end of story.

The only LED headlights I found were ugly as sin, and would never look right on my car. I wanted fluted lenses that looked like my old sealed beams, but the LED bulbs.

I finally found some here on Pelican. So today in the wonderful 74 degree sunny weather, I decided it was time to R&R the headlights. I scrolled though my list of work done on my car, and I don't ever remember replacing them. They may well be original as far as I know. They sure seem to be. The tiny little screws that hold the ring that holds the headlight into the holder has three screws. All of them have been really hard to get out. I had to remove the entire headlight holder and put it on my workbench and press HARD on the head of the little Phillips screws to get them to come out. A few shots of PB blaster and they all yielded. I will find some same size screws, and replace them, and use antiseize.

The main motivation was one headlight was getting dark. It still worked, but likely not for long.
