After a car accident and associated broken pelvis, ribs, collarbone and other bits, I had more than a few visits from Nurse Demerol - all in the butt. Didn't like the drug, but as a 17yo at the time, butts are funny and that wasn't an issue.
Amusing (not) was when a hatchet got deep into my anklebone and they had to give me serious antibiotics into my then 35yo butt. Nurse was understating things saying "this is kind of going to hurt, and I even threw some lidocane in there" and wow she wasn't kidding!
