One day on the mountaintop, we were socked in with a low cloud layer, driving snow and lightning. So, basically freezing snow, in a fog bank, with lighting hitting the mountain around you. Every time there was a lightning strike, the entire cloud bank would light up like a florescent light, with us inside of it, blinding us. You couldn't tell how close it was or what direction, because the air itself was illuminated and the sound was echoing from every direction.
