I was in Scotland (Aberdeen) once about 20 years ago for work. I didn't really do any sightseeing other than walking around Aberdeen. I also got lucky that it almost never rained while I was there. I thought it was great and would love to go back to Scotland to explore. Of course, I'd also want to see England and Ireland, and while they are small countries, I'm sure you could easily spend weeks in all of them. In some ways it's a shame that my dad was never stationed in Edzell Scotland, although I wouldn't want to change the two tours in Japan.
