I can close out this thread. Turns out the 2003 Porsche tachometer is CAN BUSS from the Engine controller, and the engine controller uses the crankshaft sensor. Normally this would be bad news. Fortunately, the LS has a reluctor plate with the same number of teeth as the Porsche. Tee tap the LS crank position sensor high to the Porsche sensor high and you got tachometer. Anyone want to by my brand new never used Adapt a tach.?
