All of the TV I watch is on my DVR, and never watch anything live. I record anything I am planning to watch, and skip the commercials.
The only political commercial crap I have gotten is spam email and texts and phone calls. Those never get past the title.
The only live TV I ever see is the extreme weather broadcasts. When a severe thunderstorm is coming our way, or possible tornado the TV stations go to "wall to wall" coverage, no commercials, nothing but storm coverage. No small talk, nothing at all but storm coverage.
