ONLY items to show 35 year age on my '87 944 S were the front and rear rubber bumpers - warped, rusted mounting plates in rubber - bad.
Good Porsche friend and neighbor just happened to have an '87 924 S for a parts car (too good for that I told him, and I got it running to prove it) as he is restoring another '87 924 S, and he gave me its like new bumpers for free.
I put them on today and now - like the rest of the car - ALL looks like a new car.
Am I a happy 944 driver or what?
Was dark when I finished - maybe pics tomorrow........
