The second to last time it crapped out I had been doing electrical work and turning the power off and on at the breaker/fuse board multiple times. I forgot to turn the dishwasher off at the wall. this was enough to kill the main computer ($300 repair.)

I think Greglepore (sp) also mentioned having issues in another recent appliance thread where you also mentioned FP.

Not everything that comes out of China is bad, but if I've got options, and one option is questionable and the other is decent, I'm going to skip the questionable option.
