If you were to dive deeper into the turn, following the outside white line until the right tire touched it, or just before , and then made your turn in , the result would be no need for crossing the yellow line and a better exit at full throttle
There are times not to go out to the edge of the white line for reference. For example, if there is gravel or debris on the edge , or an obvious amount of camber change , this is info telling you not to go there . For the most part on two lane roads , following the outside white line into the turn and judging when to start your turn is very helpful. The geometry of the two lane road just works out that way
