Glad it's all working out for you and you're closer to that first ride!
I've done some engine swaps with tricky electronic integration and it's definitely a learning curve but a fun one!
I did an LS swap on a 76 scout traveller last summer and it was a breeze! NO ELECTRONICS aside from dash.
I'll be doing this on my 87, so the only electronics will also be dash related. You're light years ahead of me, but posts like this keep me going.
