I would argue that Julia Roberts actually has some acting ability. Many young female acresses don't survive the leap into adulthood because they were only getting hired for their bodies. I keep seeing Julia Roberts show up in movies, and it just seems like she's made the leap. On the other side, check out Tom Cruise -- his early work was clearly a function of his boyish-good-looks. His later work, while arguably not a whole lot better, are probably based more on acting ability than youthful good looks.
