EEs and MEs were a dime-a-dozen, many with MBAs throughout my IT career.... no one asked, cared, or even gave a damn.... you either had "IT" or you didn't.... a couple of the best I ever worked with were gifted.... and never attended college. |
We worked with one certified Photogrammetrist that helped write some of the tests for the board certification. He was the guru at one large engineering firm. He had "just" a high school diploma, and constantly had to correct the work of the newly minted engineers from prestigious colleges. More than one FNG would question his answer, and then get schooled on their error and he showed them the correct answer.
