Next month I'd like to get the 944 painted. While I'm at it, I figure I'd replaced the windshield. It's got a crack running from the side to the top corner, very small and barely noticeable but "while I'm in there..." I see lots of parts cars on the "For Sale" forum so I figure finding the windshield will be easy, but what model years are compatible with my '83? Will a 924 screen fit as well? How much do they run?

Also, where will I find the best instructions for removing my lenses, door handles, and mirrors - is Haynes good enough? I haven't picked up a copy yet...
