1. Jet wash it down every now an again.
2. Cover turf with a made to measure tarpaulin that can be rolled up when using the sim
3. Don't bother with gym mats and just use artificial turf that can be rolled up. Is there a a need for a base layer? (need to send back to amazon if that's the case)
4. Use a tarpaulin to cover base mats and roll the turf up.

apart from no.1 all the other options require a bit of time to set up and take down.

Interested to see what others have done where their sim doubles up as a car garage.
I pull a full racing sim in my house on wood floors... put heavy-duty rubber mats down first, and no damage whatsoever.
