Blood money has been an accepted thing in many cultures for thousands of years. It’s cold and cruel but it sets up the children for life. Baldwin is Hollywood elite. No matter how he ****ed up he will still find work. The Hutchins guy is just a reminder of an unpleasant incident to them. His career is over. He will need some means of support.
