I'll do a quick story too.
I live in New Zealand and bought my SC from a private seller in England. I asked the seller if there in a Porsche place nearby that can do a PPI for me and he dropped it off at RUF GB. RUF were really good and said they were the people who sold the car to the previous owner and know the car well (does that make my car a RUF SC). Did a great PPI as well. They suggested they take the car off the PO and hold it until PO had been paid and both parties were happy. Then they released it to my shipping agent Karmann who drove it across London to the docks and loaded it in the container. RUF did all the paper work. Porsche came out on a ship called the Cape Natal and arrived fit and well in Wellington about a month later. I drove it home from the docks then did the registering and stuff after that. Couldn't be happier.
