"It looks a lot like the Corvette Engines of the late 80's. Especiallly the CORVETTE 350 LT-1 TPI. There it is in a Porsche. They copied that cool looking TPI (Tuned Port Injection) from a CORVETTE. I like the USA / German combination."
I think it's more a derivative of the 928 engine's induction system from the 70's .... maybe GM got the idea there .....
