It was a wonderful time to grow up, Pink's, Art Carr, Gurney, Keith Black. We used to ride our bikes to Gurney's place in Santa Ana (right down the street from where my Mom worked), and would just go visit all the other greats that were here in SoCal in the late 60s and 70s. We were snot nosed teenagers that had a hard time affording our own hot rods, let alone to be able to afford the type of gear that Ed Pink was putting out. All those Giants of motor racing treated us like royalty, they were the nicest guys. It was a grand time to grow up in Orange County and SoCal, and I am immensely grateful.
That video is EPIC! It reflects the character of that generation and the "car culture" of that time. Thanks so much for posting it.
