I would either go for the Porterfields mentioned above, or Hawk Yellows. Both offer better grip than stock/Textars, aren't expensive, quiet, low dust, and don't chew up rotors. The only problem is that for early 964s (with the two-piston rear calipers), there is no matching product for the rear brakes. So you may still have to go for Textars there. But the rear brakes don't handle nearly as much stopping power as the fronts.
