Sometimes it's difficult, sometimes I'm probably wrong, but I make judgments of whether the bad act is made by someone who is stupid (doesn't have the knowledge they're doing a bad act), ignorant (knows they're doing a bad act but doesn't understand that the act is bad), or an intentional bad actor (knows they're doing a bad act and knows that the act is bad).

I pretend that every bad actor is just stupid. I am sure that a lot of people classify me as stupid, though most of my bad acts are intentional.

And pretty much all of us occasionally make unintentional mistakes. You may accidentally cut someone off that you didn't realize had moved up or moved over or whatever. And you may do that once a year. Stuff happens. It's entirely possible that what you're running into is the other person's once a year mistake. But it feels like everyone else is a moron because in a 30 min drive you run into a few folks making those mistakes. Yes, of course there are also folks that just "don't get it" or are just bad drivers.
