More clean up on the Schwinn Stingray. I need to figure way to clean the frame up. I can get the grease off but maybe a light polish to make it glossy again.
I noticed the seat post where it attaches to the bottom of the banana seat was all but broken. Looks like metal fatigue. I need to figure way to reattach it. Maybe take it apart and weld it.
I did not like the tires I first ordered, so I’ve ordered another set. Should be here tomorrow.
Edit. After over restoring my 45 year old Seiko watch and regretting it, I’m trying to use all the original parts. The rear fender is pretty beat up and I don’t know if I can straighten it out enough to make it look decent. I’m not sure about the seat… maybe an STP sticker is the fix!
