So I worked my tail off over the past 50+ years and paid income tax on everything I made. Then I took what was left of that money and I paid sales tax on everything I have purchased. Now that I want sell it the current administration wants to tax it as income. In general I don’t have receipts for things I have owned for 50 plus years so it is impossible for me to prove or disprove that I am taking a loss or making a profit.
When I request FF it ABSOLUTELY is not about the measly 3% fees but at least in my case I am tired of being triple dipped and screwed to pay for a corrupt administration and government. To bad the current administration does not think that 87k border patrol agents would be a better investment in the safety and prosperity of the country than 87k armed tax collectors.
Having said all that “I GET IT” the world has changed and the scammers have screwed it up for all of us, Several times I have sent parts to Pelican members without payment, on my shipping dime and told them when your happy and satisfied with the parts then send me the money.
I only do that for people that I trust but trust is a slippery slope, just because I or another Pelican are a trustworthy straight shooter today, tomorrow it might be a different story.
It truly is a damn shame where we have ended up in this day and age, I ran my business for 28 years based on trust. I have let customers walk out the door owing me tens of thousands of dollars because I trusted them just as much as they trusted me and luckily I think I only got screwed 2 times so I feel very lucky to have been in business in an Era where your word meant something because in this day and age it is very hard to trust even honest people and again I GET IT but it does not make it any easier to accept that I am not trusted by some.
