3 Moth T Bills $$ cost avg in monthly...4.27 %..safer than anything else...3 month horizon of risk...then you get you $$ back to repeat..
NOTHING ELSE IS AS SAFE AT THE MOMENT..
Blow me wt the FDIC...i bin through that in 1990...not enough money to cover a run...it is a placebo..
