I've posted here before about the Wife and I and our frequent disappointment with restaurant food in general, compared with what we can prepare at home.
Unless it's sushi, Indian, Greek, etc I'd rather just save the extra cash and eat at home. I do have to say the few times we've eaten out recently there has been a bit of "sticker shock" at the price increases.
As far as pricing on menus, I don't mind paying a premium for a great meal but I do like knowing what I'm getting into beforehand.
