Its actually a 327 that winds up to a little over 6grand. Runs very smooth with nearly the same drive/handling as before. However, more ass end into hard turns. Pick-up, well, you've heard. The regular maintenance, oil, filter and such is a snap. The exhaust gaskets, purging the cooling system 1000 times after flushing or opening the system is a pain. Recalibrating the gauges pretty straight forward. My one wish is that I replaced 5th with a taller gear. Winds out at 3000 doing 70 or so. As far as cooling temps, I run a steady 220, from high compression and slightly restrictive exhaust(Dynomax). Everything is holding up great under my usual abuse. I have to wind the thing out every time I take it out. The tranny seems to be fine with only a slight gear sound in 2nd.
A/C, EFI, taller 5th, 4 more Blaupunkt Speakers, DVD and Im finished.
