Pete, I just pull out that yellow Colnago and cleaned it up for my younger boy. He and I ride about 30-40 mile weekly. He rides the red Trek with Ultegra elect. 12 spd. He don't have the drive to chase but beats my ass up our hills at will when we are both out of shape. I had to pull the Campy BB out only to discovered its has a bit of rust in the BB shell. I had to borrow the tools from my friend, a shop owner to chase the threads. I have always used Teflon tape and grease to keep from creaking and ease of removal. I am starting to hear people putting a couple drops of lock tight there. What do you think? I have never had one come loose on me. Oh BTY, I am installing my old DA 9 spd on it

. WE have an old man group who all think they are Eddy Merckx with old bikes and wool jerseys that meet up once a month for a 30 mile ride. I have only gone twice with my old Casati. It will fun with my kid and both our Colnagos. They will probably give me siht on my C 40 with DA ten speed.
