I also asked it to explain quantum computing to a five year old:

A quantum computer is a type of computer that uses tiny particles called "quantum bits" or "qubits" to store and process information. Unlike a regular computer, which uses bits that can be either a 0 or a 1, a quantum computer can use qubits that can be both a 0 and a 1 at the same time. This allows a quantum computer to perform many calculations at once, which means it can solve certain problems much faster than a regular computer.

Imagine you have a bunch of balls that are either red or blue. A regular computer would be like a person who looks at each ball one at a time and says whether it is red or blue. A quantum computer would be like a person who can look at all of the balls at the same time and see that some of them are red, some of them are blue, and some of them are both red and blue at the same time. This ability to see all of the possibilities at once makes a quantum computer very powerful.

Quantum computers are still very new and are not as powerful as regular computers yet, but they have the potential to do some things that regular computers cannot. For example, they might be able to help us find new medicines, or make better predictions about the weather.
