Attempting to replicate a magical shot
Yes, a "lucky" tournament shot...but the tournament player knew that if he couldn't hit the 2, the odds were 99.9% his opponent would run out and he'd lose the game. So, to me, that was "educated luck", the shooter knowing it was possible, so might as well give it a go.
