For me this cold spell is being forecast to last about 3 days with around 48 consecutive hours below zero. 9 degrees being to low expected temperature. No precipitation is expected here.

Nope it's not predicted to be remotely as bad, but it's still going to suck. If the current prediction is anything to go by, I'm going to have about 50 consecutive hours of freezing temps, and then another 12.
