Buying used can be a gamble . I bought mine from a shop that was going to higher capacity lifts . I was able to see it assembled and to watch it work . Was able to take measurements and pics before we broke it down and placed on my trailer .

I would put the quality of my US built lift up against anything new available today . And the manufacturer is still in business and parts are available . One bottle of simple green cleaner made it look like new . New or used buy the best quality you can afford . Your life may depend on it .
