FWIW - I remember a fairly peaceful thread years ago where guys were talking about putting different colored LED lights in their 911 gauge clusters. Out of the blue, a good handful of posts into the thread, Warren Hall (Early S Man) descends on the OP and lit him up for losing his mind regarding the dash lights. Warren was pretty stable and a wealth of knowledge but it triggered him in a big way. I suspect it was later in Warren's life and it was a get off my lawn moment. Your lights have nothing to do with your Porsche presentation, the colored lights just reminded me of Warren's (RIP) post.

As to your setup, it's good to get them off the ground and it's a robust set up. I bet after some contemplation you will be able to configure them a bit snappier to maximize the colored light impact. Don't be afraid to put a couple in the basement as less can be more.
