I'm going to tell it to you straight. People who believe this kind of nonsense are grasping for some evidence that they're not the dumbest person in the room. They're fed up of every man and his dog understanding stuff better than them. Clinging to some crazy delusion that they've seen the future alleviates that feeling of stupidity.
The truth is that resonant frequencies are very well understood and widely used in many things.
