Fond memories. Here's a youtube I found of various sockets being tested for rockwell hardness. One tested was an old USA made Craftsman. He even mentioned it being one reason Craftsman was so popular. Funny in a way..we took them for granted and they just worked well. Today? People out there scouring garage & estate sales looking for old USA made Craftsman tools. Even though my current age prevents me from doing the wrenching I once did, the rollaway and it's (mostly Craftsman) tools will remain until I croak.
