Instead of engaging in my previous shenanigans, I should have posted about the latest upgrades to my car.
Flashback to Spring 2021... getting ready for a driving event in Virginia I noticed the car was popping and hesitating on acceleration. Did a quick compression test the the numbers were bad. Long story short. I needed a full rebuild. There were things I've always wanted to do with this car... I might never have this opportunity again... now would be the time.
It took a while to figure it all out but eventually decide on a 3.2 short-stoke, twin plug ignition to be done by Scott McPherson at Automobile Associates in Canton, CT
While there we added a 100 liter center fill Rallye tank. And in order to upgrade to TB15 Michelins, I had to get 15x9 inch Braids. These tire are unbelievable and completely transform the way the car handles and feels on the road. You feel glued to the pavement.
The last shot is me getting 100 octane low lead avFuel at my local airport.. remarkably less expensive than race fuel.
