Bilstein quotes $75 each for revalving fronts, $65 for rears. Plus you pay for any extra parts that are worn and need replacing. Plus you pay shipping both ways. And you may pay shipping a third time to get the used inserts in the first place.

There's many more used inserts being pulled out of cars than there guys needing cores for custom valving. Many would probably give used cores away for free, because the next stop is the trash.

You might find someone willing to pay more. But considering all the factors above, and with street prices on new inserts in the $110 range, I'll stand by my valuation of $10-$15 each.
