I dunno about this.

I wonder what he did to receive treatment that could have left him permanently f’d up.

I used to go to a bar after work nearly every Friday and often for
Sunday brunch… then one night, I saw the staff throw another patron down the steps and then call the cops on him for drunk driving as he was sitting in his car (not driving but it was running as it was -30C outside).

I went out and told the cops what happened and that I’m a witness if the patron wanted to press assault charges. The guy hit the railing with his back very hard… it wasn’t good.

That was my last Friday night at that bar and have only gone back maybe 3 times in 20 years since.
