Just had one of these in for service, didn't take any photos or look too closely at it bc the transmission got one of Matt's Pro LSDs. I think there's another one that just arrived, will check and post comp photos of its teeth.

The introductory Technik for the 968 series told us that the car came with the same differential as the "C2 and C4", which is to say the current generation 911-series at the time. In fact the open and LSD diffs had 950-series parts numbers. I don't think Porsche ever put a Torsen of any kind in any other model, which is curious. And I've always wondered what one of these would do in a G50.

To add to what Matt has said, the other delta with them is that, unlike an LSD, the Torsen goes full open on decel / braking / overrun. So it's not a help on track when trail braking. (The Wavetrac TBD has a trick in its design whereby it goes full lock on decel.) Cheers,
