Without running around with the alternator and housing trying to figure the thread size at NAPA or Lowes, what size are the shafts retreaded to for thread repair.

Not sure there is any standard for rethreading these. The nuts can be difficult to find therefore somebody could have threaded it English who knows. Gotta measure width of shaft for starters and then thread pitch et. Pretty sure Napa or Lowe’s isn’t gonna have anything close.
