Cowboys defense was a 2 on 4 point (1=good, 4=bad). Didn't sack / pressure SF QB. No picks. DBs played soft. Gave the Cowboy's offense plenty of opportunities. So, pretty good.

Offense was a 3. Prescott is an emotional player; when he gets in trouble he tries too hard and f's up his game. Picks, no run game, Schultz & Elliot forgot to show up - greatly affected the short-pass game. Time of possession - when you have the lead (6-3), take the time off the clock and preserve the lead; play the short-game.

Special teams was a 3.

And, of course, penalties.

And, home-field advantage for the 'niners - always worth a 7-point advantage. That is why winning every game is important. The regular season 'what the f' do we care' losses to TB and Washington Whatevers, first and last games of the year, 4 of 5 losses on the road. Loss of home field advantage, loss of bye-week, etc.

Prediction: a lot of personnel will be trade-bait. OC and DC will be gone, unless one of them isn't promoted to head coach. Next year, Cows will be 9-8. So it goes.
