He does it to himself. I've been a Cowboy fan all my life, and it's not heartbreaking to me because I can see it coming.
It's going to be the same next year too. Next year they'll have a new kicker because he had one bad game (they've already signed a new one), but Dak had the most (tied) interceptions in the league, and missed five games, and he'll be back. I guarantee it.
Dak repeatedly admits that he is the problem. However, Jerry does nothing to get rid of the problem, nor will he let the coach do it when its the QB. Never will I recon. It's like funding public education, throw more money at it and that'll fix the problem.
Dak, like Romo and others since Aikman, have the same affliction, they're just not very good. So, Jerry's going to continue to surround an average/bad QB with great players and end up with the same thing. Insanity.
