Not sure on FIA but the factory did 7x8 with fuchs all around and 8x9 with fuchs on front and minilites on rear if you are attempting to race. In 1970 the 15x9s didn't exist yet. SVRA classifies that you cannot go wider than 8s but the pictures they use for an example include the max moritz car which runs minilites in 15x9 so...
I have both combinations in several finishes that i use with my original 6.
