Life-long 49'er fan but not having lived or visited the bay side of the Bay Area in many years, I follow them but care more about the story surrounding the game(s).
Purdy, Josh Johnson: My heart sank for both of them...I never watch games live, BTW, I DVR at east an hour and 1/2 then watch. Football is hard and I wanted Purdy, then Josh, to just do well, change the arc of their story.
Not to be.
