This is what I was afraid of... I want to spend my days in the Caribbean and the gulf. ...but Im not averse to putting it back on the hard somewhere else. ...but sailing it back to the west coast every year seems like a real PITA.

How safe are they "on the hard deck" during hurricane season? Like lets say I put it up in the carolinas and have it hauled out. If I put it on land when I'm not living aboard (and presumably could move it out of harms way) is it going to be okay? (caveats in play of course)
