Thing is, it has not snowed in metro-NY yet AT ALL. We just broke a 50 year old record for latest measurable snowfall, and counting. Last year I used it ONCE for a light 4” snow that I could have kicked to the side of the driveway with my boots if I had to. As of this writing at least, this wasn’t my wisest purchase.

I'm going to say that it was money well spent. If you HADN'T bought it, you'd probably be setting records for snow fall. The reason that you haven't been getting snow is because you bought it. It's kind of like the opposite of washing your car and then having it immediately rain.
