Genius indeed. I attempted to register my newly acquired RV in CA just before moving, they wanted $1700 for out of state transfer after I already paid sales tax in AZ. I simply waited and registered it in ID when I got here. $49 + $10 for a state park annual pass.
My brother got his Jan gas bill in SoCal for $320. Mine in ID for the same period and MUCH colder weather $69. Here we pay $.08 per kWh for electricity. In SoCal we were averaging tiers at $.30 per kWh.
