Thought I would update the progress. I started by attaching casters to the frame of the lift using U bolts to make the lift easy to move around. I then disassembled the lift removing the hydraulic rams and the top plates this made moving it more manageable. I was able to place the frame in the pit myself using a dolly and a floor jack. Then I reassembled the lift in the pit and all is well. Sorry I did not take pictures but I was so into getting everything done I forgot to take them. But here are a couple of the lift in the pit
